Trained beneath brm founder Diego Piñón and Geshe Lama Dr. Phramahachanya Khongchinda, shakina holds a phd in ritual dance studies from UC Riverside and is certified in Shiva Garuda (phoenix rising empowerment by Lama Norbu, master of Vajrayana in the tibetan tradition.
