Joseph Gilbert is a retired United States Army and Air Force veteran who served in both Vietnam and Desert Storm. A life-long artist, Joe is passionate about sharing his creations with the world. At age 83, after losing his wife of 53 years in 2023, Joe moved to California and in with his daughter, Cali to begin a new chapter. A year later he published his first book, 'THE NINE OF LIVES OF JOE' and is passionate about supporting other veterans in sharing their stories via art and writing. As an artist, Joe focuses on creating pen and ink drawings of various subjects for both adults and children. He also enjoys abstract painting and creating novelties using unconventional materials.
