Jeffrey Segal is the founder and owner of Mystic Journey, located in Santa Monica, California.  Jeffrey grew up and went to college in Los Angeles, and then attended law school at American university in Washington, D.C.

Jeffrey began practicing law in 1986, but after 10 years, realized a legal career was not for him and wanted to escape and start a new life.  But the “golden handcuffs” of law’s financial rewards kept him practicing until 2006 when, as he says it, He “gave himself” cancer to finally “force” him out of law.

After surgery, the doctors wanted Jeffrey to undergo chemotherapy.  Instead, Jeffrey chose a “natural” healing program, putting a team of healers together that included an acupuncturist, a bodyworker, an energy worker and a “regular” therapist.  After six months of working with his team, the abnormality in Jeffrey’s lymph nodes that had led to the doctors to recommend chemotherapy, had DISSAPPEARED!  It has never returned, and Jeffrey has been cancer free for over fifteen years now.    

It was during his healing process that Jeffrey decided to follow his passion, and his desire to be of greater service to his community, and opened Mystic Journey in 2008, one of the largest spiritual book and gift stores in Los Angeles, offering books, tarot decks, and crystals, as well as intuitive readers and weekly workshops.   

Jeffrey’s interest in crystals grew over the years, and for over 15 years has personally sourced all the crystals, large and small, that Mystic Journey offers.  He travels to the mines and workshops around the world to select the large crystals and geodes you can find at Mystic Journey, as well as to source specific crystals upon the request of a client.

Jeffrey is also a Life Coach and an author, with the esteemed spiritual publisher, Red Wheel Wiser, publishing his book, The Tiny Book of Big Manifesting.  The book, which is small in size but big on wisdom, offers its readers both techniques and a Code of Life to assist them in creating the life they want.
